Max Payne 3 continues the story of Max’s hardcore adventures from where it took a pause in Max Payne 2. In Sao Paulo, Max gets stuck deep into a quest filled with Treachery and Fatality and the real action begins. Max flees to Sao Paulo and starts working as a Private Security Contractor after the dismissal from NYPD and killing the son of a local mob boss. The game is set in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil and features the one and only New York City detective Max Payne as the main protagonist.
